We arrived at Jeju airport and took a taxi to the hostel. When we got to the hostel, I couldn't believe what we had to pay for taxi fare. 20,000\! I thought it was such a rip-off but later I realized that kind of thing happen all the time when traveling in Jeju-Island. We unpacked our stuff and had our supper while enjoying the scenery of the beach.
Traveling on our own could cost us more money so we decided to go on a packaged tour. On the first day, We hopped on the island trolley bus which took us to all the famous places in the east side of the island. We went to so many beautiful places I can't even remember anything but the place I liked the most was Chinese circus. They were amazingly talented and at the end of the show, they put on a motor cycle show that literally took my breath away.
On the second day, we traveled to the west side of the island. Same as the east side, we went to various places and personally the best among them was cruise tour. We got on a cruise and it was an hour ride. We saw spectacular scenery during our ride and I still can't forget that beauty of Jeju island.
One thing that I didn't like about Jeju Island was capricious weather. The tour guide was saying that when the east side is sunny, the west side is always overcast or rainy. Also it was extremely windy when we were there. It wasn't very good time to travel but we enjoyed it.
If you are planning on traveling to Jeju Island for the first time, I highly recommend you book a package tour which could save you a lot of money and take you to so many places that if you were to travel on your own, you wouldn't be able to travel to half of the places on the packaged tour.
